Shawn at Fix Medical Group made my first chiropractic experience absolutely incredible. His approach completely put me at ease. During his analysis and information gathering portion of the appointment, his attention to detail was incredible. He listened, asked great questions and was able to draw some crucial additional pieces of information out of me that I didn’t think pertained (but they did). He made sure I understood what he thought the problem was and we are in the process of creating a game plan to fix it. I’m a 30yr old avid CrossFitter and hiker and have had chronic low back pain for years. After the first appointment, I felt the best I have felt in 10 years. I can’t wait to continue to work with Shawn and his team. I would give Shawn and Fix Medical 6 stars if I could. Great experience!! Definitely will go back.

I first learned about Dr. Shawn Robek, from Sue Falsone at a Perform Better Seminar. She highly recommended Dr Shawn and said he would be able to help. I had a total knee reconstruction of my left knee, all new ligaments. I was about a year out when we first met and I was in constant pain, with every step I took. I wasn’t able to flex my quad due to severe muscle atrophy and I thought I would never squat again. I just finished my 12th session with him and I’m squatting, lunging, jumping and walking with no pain! I worked really hard inside his gym and did the homework as he requested. We built a friendship that will last forever ! Thank you, Dr Shawn, for being you! May God continue to bless you and your business!

Everybody that I have met that works here is great! I’ve been to several doctors over the last few months, and I am actually scheduled to have eight-disc fusion surgery in June, but I have had 3 sessions with Shawn and he really knows the human body. He is aggressive in his treatment, but he knows what he’s doing, and I am so glad that I started seeing him. Before I couldn’t even walk my dog to the mailbox without my sciatica really killing me, but today after my appointment with Shawn, I could walk to the mailbox without my leg bothering me at all. So, then I walked another mile, which is big for me. Normally I can’t walk more than a couple hundred feet without my sciatica killing me because of the curve in my back. I’m glad I found these guys and I will continue my treatment with them.

Accelerated Recovery Injections use a portion of a person’s own blood to help the body heal. These injections utilize rejuvenating innovative medicine, meaning they use a healthy part of a person’s body to help another part heal. In the body, platelets are used to help cells grow, repair themselves, and help blood clot.
In Accelerated Recovery Injections, certain rejuvenating parts of a person’s blood are removed from the patient’s blood and then injected back into the patient at the problem area. Since these cells are specialized in healing and triggering the body to repair damaged tissues and cells, these treatments are especially effective when administered correctly.
Since this can kick-start the healing process for many bodily systems, Accelerated Recovery Injections have several uses for people who are recovering from injury or suffering from skin issues.
People who have been in accidents or injured themselves by a fall or participating in athletic events can benefit from Accelerated Recovery Injections. Injuries such as muscle tears or strains, tendinitis, and other issues where muscle and/or tissues need to be repaired can heal faster with the help of Accelerated Recovery Injections.
In addition to helping the body heal injuries faster, Accelerated Recovery Injections can address certain skin and hair issues. Since these injections produce cell growth and restoration, they can be injected into the scalp to encourage hair growth, stop hair loss, and promote thicker hair growth.
Also, if a person has scarring or acne, Accelerated Recovery Injections can promote healing in skin cells to improve the appearance of these common skin issues.
During the Accelerated Recovery Injections process, a member of our team will explain the process to you fully before moving forward. Typically, Accelerated Recovery Injections are part of an entire plan created exclusively for you with your conditions and health goals in mind.
Accelerated Recovery Injections begin by taking a small amount of blood from a patient and putting the blood into a centrifuge, a machine that spins the blood rapidly to separate and remove the accelerated healing components from it. From there, it is injected into the problem area to promote cell and tissue growth.
When administered by a professional, the potential side effects of this treatment are few, and it is often preferred as a minimally-invasive option instead of surgical procedures.
Yes, Accelerated Recovery Injections are considered safe because they use your own blood, reducing the risk of allergic reactions or infections. When performed by a trained professional, the procedure is minimally invasive with minimal side effects. However, as with any medical treatment, there may be mild risks such as swelling or discomfort at the injection site.
Results vary depending on the condition being treated. For injuries, patients may notice improvements within a few weeks as the healing process accelerates. For skin or hair concerns, visible results may take a few weeks to a few months as cell regeneration occurs. Multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results.
Good candidates include individuals recovering from injuries (e.g., muscle tears, tendinitis), those with skin issues like scarring or acne, or people experiencing hair loss. It’s also ideal for athletes seeking faster recovery. A consultation with a healthcare provider can determine if this treatment is right for you.
The number of sessions depends on the condition being treated and your body’s response. For injuries, 1-3 sessions may suffice, while skin or hair treatments may require 3-6 sessions spaced a few weeks apart. Your provider will create a personalized plan based on your needs.
Side effects are rare but may include mild pain, swelling, or redness at the injection site. These usually resolve within a few days. Serious complications are uncommon when the procedure is performed by a qualified professional.
Yes, Accelerated Recovery Injections can be combined with other therapies like physical therapy, skincare treatments, or hair restoration procedures for enhanced results. Your provider will tailor a comprehensive plan to address your specific health goals.
Preparation is minimal. Stay hydrated, avoid anti-inflammatory medications for a few days before the procedure, and follow any specific instructions from your provider. Wear comfortable clothing and arrive ready to discuss your health history and goals.
